Logtra Solutions (Pty) LTD was established in 2007 as a BEE Training Material Development Company specialising in the design and development of training programmes, materials and aids.
Logtra Solutions is situated in Waterford Place in Waterford Glen, Pretoria. Logtra Solutions have been involved in a number of projects for the South African National Defence Force (SANDF), South African Police Services (SAPS), Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) as well as numerous other private organisations in the mining and simulation industry who are involved in the development and presentation of training.
Changing Global Situation
Globalisation, rapid technological change and legislation have placed organisations under growing pressure to adapt their training systems. Traditional systems are being replaced with an outcomes-based education and training system that is aligned with the National Qualifications Framework (NQF).
South Africa is one of several countries in the world with a NQF. Twelve percent of all countries have established NQFs, while fifty-three percent are in various stages of developing NQF. Forty-percent of the countries involved in the development of NQF are also involved in the development of regional qualification frameworks.
National Qualification Frameworks apply to both public and private institutions and includes pre-schools, schools, training providers, workplaces, FET colleges, universities and universities of technology.
